In Nis, from 5th to 10th August, 2011, was held fifth international children's colony of animated film, organized by the Studio of animated film 98 from Nis and Anima Nis (under the patronage of the City of Nis and city municipality Pantelej).

Fifth international children's colony of animated film was visited by 50 children, students who attended workshops in Russia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Nis, which have in 30 hours, with the help of mentors made several short animated films. The program was rich varieties of content as before. Colony was opened by Timothy John Byford, writer and director of famous children's series of Radio Television of Serbia. Beside him in the colony were as teachers Elena Turova, screenwriter and animator from Belarus, Simo Brdar, director from the Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sveta Strahinjic, producer from Belgrade. As mentors of the participating countries were present Jaroslav Baran from Slovakia, Maya Koicheva Kitova and Meglena Penkova Shamanova from Bulgaria and Tatjana Urbic from Slovenia.
